InnovPlantProtect
InnovPlantProtect (InPP) is a Collaborative Laboratory dedicated to the development of innovative biosolutions that promote plant health , as well digital solutions that make agricultural management more precise and efficient.
With a special focus on Mediterranean crops, we work to find effective responses to emerging pests and diseases, many of which are being intensified by climate change and are already impacting Portugal and other regions.

THE PEOPLE OF InPP
InPP is built by people who share a common vision, aligned objectives and a strong commitment to contributing solutions for the sustainability of agriculture. Our organisation brings together a young, dedicated and highly motivated team, working closely on a daily basis— from our employees to our Governing Bodies and Advisory Board — all united by the same purpose.
InnovPlantProtect’s multidisciplinary team includes more than 30 researchers with solid expertise and extensive experience across a wide range of fields, including molecular biology, biochemistry and microbiology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, formulation science, nano- and micro-technologies, geographic information systems (GIS) and artificial intelligence.
Together, this diversity of knowledge enables us to address agricultural challenges in an integrated, innovative and impactful way.
