The main objective of Mission Interface, launched as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), is to deepen the effort to expand and consolidate the network of interface institutions between the academic, scientific and technological system and the Portuguese business fabric, guaranteeing the necessary support to boost their impact in promoting investment in R&D and innovative investment in companies, particularly in terms of their export potential.
InnovPlantProtect (InPP), under the label of collaborative laboratory (CoLAB), has secured basic funding of 4M€, certified by the National Innovation Agency (ANI), and will invest in technical and human training to improve the capacity to offer products and services in the field of biotechnology and the protection of agricultural crops against the main plant pests and diseases, and in the qualification, modernization of equipment, technical training of assets and support for highly qualified resources by CoLAB in innovative areas of interest to national and international companies.
The Interface Mission is part of Component 5 - “Capitalization and Business Innovation” of the PRR, which aims to deepen the effort to expand and consolidate the network of interface institutions between the academic, scientific and technological system and the Portuguese business fabric.
This funding will be allocated for a period of 3 years, starting on January 1, 2023, until 2025.
