{"id":21184,"date":"2025-10-03T17:31:19","date_gmt":"2025-10-03T17:31:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iplantprotect.pt\/?p=21184"},"modified":"2025-12-09T17:37:26","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T17:37:26","slug":"inpp-joins-the-biolivinglabs-project-dedicated-to-the-sustainability-of-inland-territories","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iplantprotect.pt\/en\/inpp-integra-o-projeto-biolivinglabs-dedicado-a-sustentabilidade-dos-territorios-do-interior\/","title":{"rendered":"InPP is part of the BioLivingLABS project, dedicated to the sustainability of inland territories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">InnovPlantProtect (InPP) was present at the project launch meeting <a href=\"https:\/\/iplantprotect.pt\/en\/projectos\/biolivinglabs-bioeconomy-at-the-service-of-the-sustainability-of-inland-territories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BioLivingLABS<\/a> - Bioeconomia ao Servi\u00e7o da Sustentabilidade dos Territ\u00f3rios do Interior (Bioeconomy at the Service of the Sustainability of Inland Territories), which took place on October 1st at the School of Agriculture of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (IPCB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Funded by COMPETE 2023, the BioLivingLABS project, led by <a href=\"https:\/\/morecolab.pt\/en\/inicio-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MORE CoLAB<\/a> - Laborat\u00f3rio Colaborativo Montanhas de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, in partnership with the InPP, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcb.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IPCB<\/a>, from <a href=\"https:\/\/aquavalor.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AQUAVALOR<\/a> and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragan\u00e7a (<a href=\"https:\/\/ipb.pt\/pt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IPB<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project's mission is to add value to the low-density territories in the north, center and south of the country by demonstrating and economically boosting the work carried out by the partners - through the creation, demonstration and application of products, processes and services resulting from joint research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four living laboratories will be created (<em>Living Labs<\/em>) in the innovation hubs of Mirandela, Douro, Covilh\u00e3 and Elvas, which they intend to promote: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the transfer of knowledge;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>technology demonstration;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>strategic roadmapping and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the protection of intellectual property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BioLivingLABS strengthens the link between academia, business and society, driving innovation and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Expected impact:<br>Over the course of 24 months, and with Living Labs dedicated to sectors such as olive groves and olive oil, vineyards and wine, fruit and cereals, legumes, among others, the project will contribute to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>increase regional competitiveness;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promote sustainable practices and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>responding to the environmental, social and economic challenges facing inland territories.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More news about this new project soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>O InnovPlantProtect (InPP) marcou presen\u00e7a na reuni\u00e3o de lan\u00e7amento do projeto BioLivingLABS \u2013 Bioeconomia ao Servi\u00e7o da Sustentabilidade dos Territ\u00f3rios do Interior, que teve lugar no dia 1 de outubro, na Escola Superior Agr\u00e1ria do Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico de Castelo Branco (IPCB).
