{"id":21169,"date":"2025-09-22T17:17:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T17:17:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iplantprotect.pt\/?p=21169"},"modified":"2025-12-09T17:18:58","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T17:18:58","slug":"inpp-integrates-biolivinglabs-project-bioeconomy-at-the-service-of-the-sustainability-of-inland-territories","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iplantprotect.pt\/en\/inpp-integra-projeto-biolivinglabs-bioeconomia-ao-servico-da-sustentabilidade-dos-territorios-do-interior\/","title":{"rendered":"InPP joins BioLivingLABS project - Bioeconomy at the service of the sustainability of inland territories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">InnovPlantProtect (InPP) recently received approval for an application submitted to COMPETE2030-2024-6 - Collective Actions - Transfer of scientific and technological knowledge - BioLivingLABS - Bioeconomy at the service of the sustainability of inland territories, led by <a href=\"https:\/\/morecolab.pt\/en\/inicio-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MORE CoLAB<\/a> - Laborat\u00f3rio Colaborativo Montanhas de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, Associa\u00e7\u00e3o, in partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Bragan\u00e7a (<a href=\"https:\/\/ipb.pt\/pt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IPB<\/a>), the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipcb.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IPCB<\/a>) and <a href=\"https:\/\/aquavalor.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AQUAVALOR<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BioLivingLABS aims to promote the economic valorization of research and development (R&amp;D) results obtained by various institutions in the North, Center and Alentejo. To this end, it will create an experimental demonstration network, the so-called\u00a0<em>Living Labs<\/em>, The project will be held in the innovation hubs of Mirandela, Douro, Covilh\u00e3 and Elvas. In addition, demonstration actions, workshops, an inland innovation catalog and training on intellectual property protection will be developed with the aim of encouraging the incorporation of innovative solutions in the business sectors of these regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scheduled to begin in October and lasting 24 months, the project has a total eligible investment of over 740,000 euros, financed by COMPETE2030 - Thematic Program for Innovation and Digital Transition.
