In addition, the <strong>increasing resistance<\/strong> of pests and pathogens is reducing the effectiveness of existing solutions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f3af181 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f3af181\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>At the same time, <strong>new threats are emerging<\/strong> \u2014 pests and diseases for which effective control methods do not yet exist. This reality, already well established in Europe and increasingly evident worldwide, calls for<strong> safe, targeted and sustainable solutions.<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea1b40c e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" context that our team <strong>dedicated to the development of<\/strong> <strong>new biopesticides<\/strong>\u2014 biologically based solutions composed of small molecules (such as RNA interference) or small proteins capable of blocking the interaction between plant pathogens and crops, or inhibiting the growth of these organisms.<\/p>\n<p>These biopesticides are distinguished by their <strong>high level of safety for humans and animals<\/strong>, their targeted specificity, and their <strong>lower environmental impact<\/strong> compared to currently available synthetic agrochemicals, representing an innovative and sustainable response to the challenges of modern agriculture.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2fc23b7 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2fc23b7\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div <strong>interactions between plants and other organisms<\/strong>\u00a0in order to better understand and enhance natural resistance mechanisms against pests and diseases. These trials allow us to validate and optimise innovative solutions, ensuring they perform effectively under real field conditions and deliver tangible benefits to farmers.<\/p>\n<p>Our work is particularly focused on\u00a0<strong>Mediterranean crops<\/strong>, The team is working to improve the quality of agricultural products, which are facing increased challenges due to climate change and the emergence of new pests and diseases.
