{"id":13906,"date":"2025-02-14T11:41:33","date_gmt":"2025-02-14T11:41:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iplantprotect.pt\/?p=13906"},"modified":"2025-06-24T10:55:38","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T10:55:38","slug":"inpp-took-part-in-the-12th-national-corn-2025-conference","status":"publish","type":"eventos","link":"https:\/\/iplantprotect.pt\/en\/eventos\/o-inpp-participou-no-12-o-coloquio-nacional-do-milho-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"InPP took part in the 12th National Maize Colloquium 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 12th National Maize Colloquium 2025, promoted by Anpromis, brought together around 600 farmers and specialists from the agri-food sector in Figueira da Foz to discuss the technical challenges, innovations and best practices associated with growing maize in Portugal, as well as the European challenges in the current geopolitical context. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The executive director of InnovPlantProtect (InPP), Ant\u00f3nio Saraiva, moderated the panel on \u201cThe technical challenges of corn production in Portugal\u201d, which included the participation of Andr\u00e9 Antunes, Consultant in agricultural resilience, St\u00e9phane Jezequel, Technical Director of Arvalis, and Lu\u00eds Queir\u00f3s, Global Director for Fodder Additives at Lallemand Animal Nutrition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Fernandes, closed the event with a speech focusing on the national strategic measures that are essential for cereal production and the instruments and financial resources that will benefit the agricultural sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">InPP would like to thank Anpromis, a founding member of InPP, for inviting us to moderate the panel on \u201cThe technical challenges of corn production in Portugal\u201d.
